A radiator cover is a unique cover a person can place over an old radiator in the home. Older homes were heated with water radiators years ago. Some of these homes still use the radiators for heating the rooms. With out a radiator cover the radiators are free standing and are eye sores.
As time progresses homes are now being renovated updated according to the interior of the home. With some homes the radiator will stay as the heating system for the home as the cost is low.

When building a radiator cover there are things to take into consideration. The space around the radiator to place the cover, the height of the cover needs to have at least 3 inch clearance. Will this leave enough space for airflow? Are there any shelves near the radiator or anything that could reflect the flow of air?
How much room between the wall and radiator is there to work with? This is important to know what thickness of wood a person will need to use.
The plumbing on the radiator, which way does it lead out and how much room around the piping does a person have to work in?
These are just some of the questions a person needs to be aware of when looking to build or buy a radiator cover. Finding the right radiator cover is important to the décor in the room that is being renovated.
