 Contour GRG, or Glass Reinforced Gypsum column casings are a strong, versatile, lightweight product intended primarily for internal locations.
The benefits of specifying GRG are its crisp clean lines with flawless monolithic faces free from traditionally plastered skim lines and rounded arises.
Gypsum is a mineral and is fire resistant. It will not burn, making the material suitable for applications where fire rated column casings are required.
Contour GRG column covers are supplied in halves, or other manageable sections, to facilitate ease of installation. They are easily assembled and installed using basic drywall tools and equipment.
Once installed, the joints need to be filled, prior to columns being primed and painted.
