Easi-Rad is a quick and easy way to make standard radiators more practical and more hygienic. It can be added to any standard panel radiator, either as part of a new central heating installation, or retro-fitted. Once fitted, it allows the radiator to be lowered down, quickly,easily an safely.
The secret of Easi-Rad's simplicity is the patented* rotating valve fitting which is used to adapt standard radiator valves. This allows the radiator to pivot along the axis of the radiator valves, without putting any strain on the pipework or fittings. So now you can lower your radiators quickly and simply, without the risk of causing a lea k or worse.
The fittings are BSI tested to 9 bar in both cold water and hot water tests. (BSI Test Report No. 263/7102901 dated 21/08/2007).
The bracket set supports the radiator and restrain it safely with child proof brackets. Quick-release pins are supplied to enable the radiator to be lowered. The top brackets are fitted with restraining chains to enable the radiator to be lowered safely.
The Easi-Rad system is suitable for any radiator, and a variety of kits are available to suit different models. If you are unsure which style of radiator you have, we also offer the universal kit.
Standard kits include; 2 bottom brackets, 2 top brackets, 2 chains, quick release pins and either a 15mm straight connector or 3/4" BSP. The kit contains comprehensive instructions.
