Contour Casings has supplied and installed a number of Polyester Powder Coated (PPC) Aluminium Column Casings as part of a major rebuilding project.
The casings were fitted to a new two-storey ten classroom teaching block at Regency School in Worcester, engineered to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
The casings were designed to incorporate the rain water pipe, yielding a cleaner finish to the facade of the building.
Kevin Beck, Site Manager, commented,"The casings have dramatically improved the appearance and finish of the new teaching block. In the two years since they have been fitted, there has been no maintenance required, the initial installation was also fast and efficient".
"We chose the powder coated casing as it removes the potential for rust, we have been extremely satisfied with how the product has performed and the service we received".
"As our student body encompasses students with special needs, the circular design of the casings eliminates the presence of any sharp edges should a student fall against it, as well as protecting students from the steel structure underneath", said Mr Beck. |
