An almost endless range of shapes and sizes can be manufactured. PPC Aluminium column casings are renowned for their suitability for almost any application and are offered in every RAL or BS colour.

Manufacture

Fabricated using lightweight Aluminium, these durable column casings have a 3mm metal skin. Column casings can be supplied in lengths of up to 3m if required, a supplementary internal support frame can be supplied for large configurations comprising more than two sections.

The joint detail consists of a 20mm recess, this can remain exposed or be filled with a feature gasket or material to suit the column body. Aluminium components comply with BS EN 485-2.

Finish Options

The PPC finish complies with BS 6496/7 and is available in all RAL or BS 4800/381C colours.

It is possible to include BioCote® anti-microbial protection into the paint finish if required, this is frequently specified in Healthcare and food preparation areas. Special finishes such as Syntha Pulvin are also offered.

Fire Performance

All PPC Aluminium column casings are manufactured from ferrous and non-ferrous metals, all columns are non-combustible and comply with Class ‘0’ spread of flame to BS 476-4.
